Darlington Court is situated in the peaceful seaside town of Littlehampton. The friendly and experienced care team provide residential, dementia and nursing care for older people on a permanent or short term basis.

The purpose-built home has a large, bright dining room, stunning lounges and smaller garden rooms, ideal for relaxing and catching up with loved ones. The beautiful and secure gardens, which include a patio and lawns, are particularly popular on warmer days. Residents are welcome to help out with weeding and planting.

The activities team support residents to continue enjoying whatever hobbies they love or to find new pursuits to enjoy. By getting to know every resident as an individual, care is tailored to their exact needs.

From the manager

“I worked as a Deputy Manager for five years before joining Darlington Court as Home Manager. I wanted to work with Care UK because I know that they really invest in their team members and give them support to get where they want to be in their careers. The training system here is amazing, and it’s easy for everyone to understand. I love this job, and that gives me the motivation I need to perform my role well. As a Home Manager, you also need to be caring and empathic, and wish to make a difference every day in residents’ lives. The most important part of my role, however, is being open to trying to find new solutions that keep residents safe and improve the service. The best part of my working day is whenever I can put a smile on someone’s face. I feel proud of what I do here at Darlington Court when I make a difference to residents’ lives. I also find fulfilment in leading my team and working together as one team. When I’m not working, I enjoy listening to music, spending quality time with my daughter and travelling around the world.”
