You’ll find Hollie Hill Care Home situated in a pleasant area close to Stanley town centre. We are only six miles from Durham, near to public transport and the A1, making us easily accessible for visitors to pop-in for a chat.
Our team offers residential care for those who need help with daily tasks, and nursing care for people who have complex medical needs. We also provide residential dementia care where we support our residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home.
Our home regularly receives visits from local nursery children, which always puts a smile on our residents’ faces. We also have weekly visits from pet therapy dogs, which has found to be greatly beneficial to our residents. Our home has furry residents, a cat, dog, and peacock, which our residents absolutely adore.
Outside, we are currently developing a sensory garden for our residents who suffer with dementia, to provide a stimulating and enjoyable outside experience.
From the manager
