Excellent

Wonderful nursery and staff, I couldn't have asked for a better place for my two children to attend. The nursery is always clean and tidy and I am comfortable knowing my sons are safe whilst there due to the security in place. The owner, manager and staff are always very friendly and welcoming, they do their very best for the children in their care and co-operate well with parents. My eldest (3) has delayed speech development and in the few months that he has been there he has gone from saying few single words to now attempting to put small sentences together, can count from 1-10, and recognises colours, numbers and some shapes. He also interacts with other children and has made friends who he will play with after being very antisocial and keeping to himself when he first started. I am currently potty training my two year old and have received full support from the nursery, with them also carrying it out while he's there, staff are good at taking note of and supporting his preferred interests, using them to help his learning progress. Both boys are very happy to attend and leave smiling after a fun and productive day at nursery every week

Outstanding Nursery with outstanding staff

Our grandson enjoys coming to nursery for various reasons: 1. Staff - He knows that they care for him and he can trust them 2. His friends - he enjoys mixing with different age groups at the start and end of the day 3. Activities - he likes the variety of activities - indoor and outdoor - musical and creative - role plays and stories 4. Food - he has a good appetite and his requests for a second portion of food is always accepted As grandparents we are delighted that he happily goes to nursery. The diary book at the end of the day is lovely as they fill us in on his day. We shall shortly be sending our granddaughter to the nursery and look forward to seeing her enjoy spending time and developing there. The professional attitude of the staff and the kind and friendly ethos generated leave us confident in the knowledge that our grandson is safe and well looked after at The Learning Journey Day Nursery.
