Grace Montessori School

Lovely nursery, a real gem

Our daughter has been very happy at the nursery and we have noticed a huge change in her social skills and independence since she started attending few months ago. And she now often asks at the weekend if she can go to school!

The school itself, is lovely and bright, huge garden at the back (that so many 'top' nurseries we looked at, don't have) and the staff all softly spoken and very attentive.

It's a real gem in the world of nurseries (we looked at so many) and very good value for money. I am sure that in years to come it will become one of those nurseries that will have a huge waiting list!

Ignore the Ofsted report, they are having it reviewed later this year. The inspector, clearly, didn't understand the Montessorri approach, which is a real shame as it is an authentic Montessori school that doesn't compromise its principles.

Kind, caring, child centred and highly...

I have followed the woman who opened this nursery from her old place of work as I continue to see the fruits of her work in my eldest child who is now 7.

The Montessori approach is very different from other nurseries, it is calm based around observation of the child and fosters independent work and child led learning.

Shamim the head is sensitive, caring and calm, she has chosen her staff very carefully and they are all excellent.

We have chosen to keep our child here for another year in spite of the fact that she has a place in a local excellent school nursery because I know that what Grace Montessori has to offer is rarely replicated elsewhere.

I cannot recommend this nursery more highly

Excellent

Really lovely staff and a very caring attitude make this a welcoming place. My son's been attending for about a year now and, in contrast to other places he's been he's quite happy to go and comes home cheerful.

Montessori is a great educational philosophy and I get the impression that Grace nursery pays it due respect and really values the system.

Wonderful school, great staff

Our daughter has been going here from shortly after it opened, and she loves it, and so do we. Staff are kind and supportive, and always open to the parents. Great thing is also the large garden in the back, which means the children have plenty of outside space to play and see things grow (they have a garden patch for that).
