Description

Continuity of Care Services Limited provides families (service users) with their own indivudual team, arriving at the times they require to fit in with their routine. We give the FULL AMOUNT of time allocated and staff that are employed will have their own personal care experience by looking after a loved one, friends or families. They will also all have had mandatory training through the care certificate, as well as further training on individuals specific needs. All have have an enhanced DBS for both adults and Children.

Keeping Mum safe

CCS have been working with me to ensure that my mother stays safe in her own home since she was widowed two years ago. The care staff have been fantastic and Mum looks forward to their daily visits. The care staff have always treated her with dignity and respect but also have a great sense of fun. As a family we could not manage without them.
CCS have always taken a flexible approach and worked with us to ensure the care levels are just right- to ensure Mum's indepenance is maintained.
If you are looking a flexible and professional home care then I would strongly recommend you speak to CCS.

I began working for the companies registered manager as a personal care assistant with previous experience of two agencies. These agencies left me feeling that they didnt have the best interest of their service users at heart and more about hitting figures. With back to back calls, rushing and not allowing time that the services user paid for and deserved.
Since working here i have seen the impact of time management and how ths really does make a difference to people lives. And how allowing travel time between visits positively impacts both service users and staff.
For the staff the company is very supportive and fast reacting to staffs goals. With previous agencies i personally fought for months to be enrolled onto my nvq qualifications. I have now done my level 3 and onto my level 5.
They are also always interested in what staff have to say and their own ideas. They always want to improve the service for everyone involved. There are always ways to progress your career here.

Improving our daily lives

Our son suffers from Huntington's Disease and is unable to go out alone or do anything unaided.
CCS arranged for two younger males carers, of similar interests, to visit weekly and take our son out for afternoons. They went to museums, played pool and football-golf, had walks, went to the cinema and had lunches out - the sort of activities that a young man enjoys.
Their visits gave our son something to look forward to, and gave my husband and I free afternoons to relax and do things on our own. They improved all our daily lives.
We cannot thank the carers, Jon and Wasiu, enough for all their help, kindness and understanding. We are also grateful to Victoria, who runs CCS, for finding them.
