support for children with disabilities
We have a 10 year old son with prader willi syndrome, learning disability, low muscle tone, who has also been diagnosed with ASD and serverely challenging behaviour.
His behavioural challenges escalated over to the point where we felt we could not longer care for him at home. On 18.06.12 we began receiving support from care forum and it has made such a positive Impact on our family to the point where we have decided we no longer want A to go into residential care. We cannot thank them enough.
Flexible, Reliable, Caring, Respectful, Fun
My son has very complex health needs.The team of carers that provide respite for him are fantastic.They treat my son with respect and dignity at all times and treat him as an individual. Excellent, professional care service
Care Forum have provided us with excellent carers for our son Tom who has Cerebral Palsy and is a wheelchair user. He is in his first year at Lancaster University reading Politics and International Relations. We needed a main carer who could help Tom on a 24/7 basis with his physical needs but could also help him with his academic and social life and would fit in with his peer group. Tom's main carer fits the bill perfectly!
BRILLIANT respite care!
Care forum have been absolutely great in providing us with a brilliant care worker to look after our autistic son and provide us with some much needed respite. The carer is always prompt, well organised and does a great job of looking after our son. We are really pleased with the service.
