Latest reviews of this care home setting

Cedar House Care Home

Dignity and care

No empathy shown , had disregard to toilet needs had to wait sometime up to 30mins sometimes longer for assistance
My mother was blind and on one visit I found her crying because she wanted a drink of water which was place on a table out of her reach.Another visit I found her distressed because she wanted to go for a lie down and she was told she would have to wait until after her tea,she had been sitting in a chair from 8.30 am it was now 3pm
She had no bell to ring for assistance at night, just a sensory mat in case she fell out of bed.
She was waiting for ambulance to transport her to hospital as she was poorly staff arranged taxi transfer as they said could be waiting hours for ambulance they woke her up, put her in wheel chair and she was sent to hospital accompanied by her daughters( no care staff went with her )
