Wellington and Longforth House
Professional, compassionate, thoughtful, skilled, knowledgeable
My mother was a resident at Wellington House for 2.5 years. Throughout that time she was treated with respect and shown much love. Her previous medication was successfully replaced with patience, humour, empathy and a thorough knowledge of current best practice. On a weekly basis I visited her unannounced and always found a very high standard of interaction between staff and residents and a continual atmosphere of love, care and happiness. Her end of life care was exemplary.

Wonderful care for my Aunt
My Aunt was a resident in the home until recently when, sadly, she passed away. We were told that the home specialised in caring for people with dementia, how correct that was! She settled in quickly, liked her room and enjoyed going to the lounges and interacting with the other residents, there was always something going on to keep her interested. The staff were fantastic with her, the food was clearly homemade and tasty and the activities people were great. Auntie had a very happy time there.
