Wonderful care
Red Rocks provided end of life care for my father and at all times he was cared for superbly. he was at all times provided with everything he needed, ensuring he was safe and secure while maintaining his privacy and dignity. The home is run very professionally and this leadership filters down to all the staff. The staff cannot be faulted and it provided huge solace to the whole family to know that Dad was being looked after by such caring and kind people. The home itself is spotlessly clean and the food is of good quality and plentiful.

Excellent care and service from initial enquiry...
From my initial contract with the proprietor to the last day of my fathers stay, I have received nothing but professionalism and kindness.
A home visit from senior staff took place and when we arrived these staff welcomed us making the process less traumatic and a little easier on all concerned.
During his stay my father was treated with dignity, kindness and positive care and whilst he looked forward to returning home, he said he had really enjoyed his stay at Red Rocks.
I can confirm that each day when I visited, the staff welcomed me and I saw only continued improvement in my fathers wellbeing and I attribute this to the staff and environment of Red Rocks.
I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment if you are looking for exceptional care, cleanliness, good food and kindness.

Wonderful location and great staff
My father moved into Red Rocks Nursing Home in mid May 2016 after a few weeks in hospital and in an intermediate care unit in a care home in Claughton, and a few days in a residential home on a respite basis, having lived independently in his own home prior to this. The choice of Red Rocks was influenced, to a degree, by its very informative website and the philosophy of care which this described. In the short time that my father has been in Red Rocks, I have seen plenty of evidence that that this philosophy is actually being delivered, through both my own involvement with staff there and the care being given to my father, and my observation of the care being provided to other residents. Staff at Red Rocks have already identified a few care related matters which can be relatively easily addressed by early intervention which, sadly, the intermediate care unit overlooked or ignored as regards my father. My initial experience of Red Rocks enables me to be certain that it is very well managed, and its location is, without doubt, second to none. Once my father has been able to put behind him his recent experiences in hospital and the intermediate care unit, as well as his loss of independence, I am confident that he can look forward to renewed quality of life at Red Rocks.

Couldn't Be Better
My father in law was a resident of the home for a three months last year. We could not have chosen a better provider.
The home was spotless , the food was wonderful but most of all the care given by the staff was out of this world. Nothing was too much trouble , every member of staff was totally professional and carried out their duties amazingly well. The medical care received towards the end was so well handled and compassionate.

An excellent care home with high standards of care
I have recently resigned from my job as a Kitchen Assistant at Red Rocks in order to go travelling before I start university. I started this job when I had just turned 16 and have worked it for almost 3 years. Being that it was my first part-time job, I was very nervous when I first started. However this nervousness was unnecessary as I was welcomed very kindly and received endless help from all the staff. My experiences at Red Rocks have shown that this is a well organised establishment which always strives for the highest possible standard. The residents receive excellent care as well as nutritious, varied foods. In addition to this, the cleanliness of Red Rocks is always exemplary. If I had a relative who required residential care, I would not hesitate in choosing Red Rocks.

Excellent caring people and a lovely environment
My Dad self-admitted himself to Red Rocks when he realized that he could no longer care for himself. Initially, as we are 5,500 miles away, we were very concerned when we heard the news. We need not have been though. Right out the gate we got an email from Mike at Red Rocks and a visit to their website and a brief phone call allayed all our concerns. Following up with the nurses looking after Dad was great and they were very happy to talk to us and explain their care plan. It was very clear to us after being able to physically visit, and having heard many personal testimonies from Dad's visitors that his last days were in the best possible hands.
A Wonderful place with great people - thank you for all that you did.

Best nursing home I've ever known!
I worked at Red Rocks Nursing Home for over 2 and a half years and it's been an amazing experience, I honestly think it's the best nursing home in England! You couldn't send your relative to a better, more caring environment. The staff are so supportive and caring and it's a lovely and friendly environment and I'm thankful to have been apart of it. Definitely a nursing home I'd want to live in!

Following surgery my wife spent some days at Red Rocks. Her care and comfort could not have been bettered.Should either my wife or myself need perminant care we would not dream of going elsewhere. This is one uniquely gifted care home. The situation, the food, the comfort provided are consistently first class.
