Belmont Grange Residential Home
Respite care
I was initially hesitant to use Belmont Grange due to the appearance of the building and untidy garden etc., but the care couldn't be faulted. Belmont Grange staff were all very helpful and caring with mum - they looked after her while we were in Devon, enabling us to go walking and have some 'time out' from 24/7 caring. Mum loved it there, there was always a happy, friendly atmosphere, and they made her (and us) very welcome.

Totally cares for our aunt
Our aunt has dementia, which means her grasp on reality is minimal, and her manner can be caustic and very frustrating. Every carer at Belmont Grange treats our aunt with the utmost respect and affection. She is kept spotlessly clean and all her needs are met, even down to having her fingernails painted to cheer her up. The atmosphere at Belmont is wonderful, and as Mrs Dempsey said to us 3 years ago 'Belmont will be her home from home' and it certainly is.
