Rudgwick Pre School
Fun, activity filled friendly Pre School
My son has thoroughly enjoyed the last 2 years of Pre School. The setting is brilliant with a great outdoor canopy so that the children can burn off some energy outside & get some vital fresh air whatever the weather! There is never a dull moment what with sport & music sessions, trips up to 'BIG' school to get them used to their new surroundings, trips to the shop to chose & buy their own snacks, visits from the rural bus to name but a few! All this along with the brilliant indoor & outdoor toys/facilities have made it such a great & fun place for my son to be, he has loved it & is now fully prepared for the transition to Primary School. The teachers are always so friendly & helpful, always there to tend to your little ones needs.
If you want your child to come home with a big smile everyday..this is the place to go!

Leaver of preschool
Rudgwick preschool is like a second family. With 1 child about to leave and another just started, I am very pleased to be apart of preschool life. Staff are very approachable and friendly, keen to tell you about what your child said or did during sessions and very supportive. My daughter will be moving up to primary school from September, part if the preschool set up is having Monday sessions only for children starting school the following September. As a result the transition between the preschool and primary is excellent. She was visiting the primary school on a weekly basis during the summer term. By the end of term she'd taken part in their sports day, eaten lunch at school, been in assembly and in the classroom. She enjoyed everyday spent at preschool and has made some very special friends who will be moving up with her into primary school.

A happy and caring preschool.
Both of my children have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Rudgwick Preschool, thanks in most part to the wonderful staff who are welcoming and caring and take the time to really get to know the children in their care. There are so many things going on to keep the children stimulated, such as music and games sessions and not to mention frequent trips to the primary school or the local shop. Now that my youngest is heading to 'big school' we feel sad to be leaving our lovely preschool behind and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a friendly and personal provision for their child. Thank you to everyone involved in making it such a special place.

Brilliant local Pre-school
My daughter has been so happy at pre-school this year. She has become more confident, happy to try new things and has made some lovely friends. The staff are all very experienced, the atmosphere is happy and relaxed and best of all the children are encouraged to explore and learn at their own pace. The music sessions and the mud pit have been great favourites this last term. She is really excited about coming back as a 'big girl' in September. We highly recommend this setting!

My daughter has been at the pre-school for a year and she loves it, she is making lots of friends and really enjoys the Monday Club (which is just for the older children). There is a good network of parents, which has made it easier to settle into the area. The staff are good and the communication to the parents has much improved.

Friendly and welcoming preschool
My son absolutely loves going to Rudgwick preschool and runs in through the doors every time! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and really put the children at the centre of things. Although it is run from the scout hut, meaning equipment has to be put out and away each day, the staff make the most of the resources available and a brand new canopy has just been erected outside so that the children can enjoy the outside space in all weathers! There is also a session specifically for those children who will be starting school in the following September, where staff can tailor activities for those older children and take them along to the local school for playtime etc. This really helped my older son settle into school last year. We feel very lucky to have this setting on our doorstep!

A pre-school that makes children smile
My daughter attended the pre-school 3+ years ago and loved every minute of it. Being my first, she and I were both very nervous at first but the staff handled it brilliantly and she was skipping to 'school' and wanting to go every day within weeks. Thankfully there is not a lot of staff turnover so the same brilliant characters are still there. So when it came to my son's pre-school choice - there was no contest and no thought required.
The facilities and setting might not be as 'flashy' or modern as other pre-schools but it's not needed, especially by the children. They have all the toys that children need to have fun and are individually understood and developed accordingly by the staff.
The interaction and relationship that this pre-school has with the Primary school is vital and well coordinated and makes the transition easy and exciting for the kids.
Personal, warm and fun are the best words to describe Rudgwick pre-school.

Caring, friendly, qualified, experienced staff,...
My son loves going to pre school to play with his friends. The staff make an effort to get to know each child and their needs very quickly and the children are able to choose how they want to spend their time. My daughter spent a lot of time doing arts and crafts, my son spends much of his time with his friends outside. I am always amazed at how calm, happy and busy the children are whenever I visit. The staff are very caring and trustworthy. I would recommend Rudgwick Pre-School to all of my friends.

Excellent friendly pre-school
My daughter is very happy there and has made lots of friends (both with staff and other children). Her key-worker is very good at speaking with us regularly and keeping us updated about how she is getting on. I can't fault it. My son can't wait to start attending too.

On a recent visit i found the pre-school to have a great variety of equipment, a good child : staff ratio, enthusiastic staff keen to interact with my child to help her settle, which seemed to rub of on the children attending as they also were wanting to play with her, lovely large yet safe outside play area, all in all a warm welcoming environment in which i will be happy to leave my child.

A great start at Rudgwick Pre School
Both of our boys settled in very quickly at the Pre-School. The staff are all very competent, friendly and helpful and take care of the boys' needs very well. The boys always come home smiling and enjoy chatting about the good range of activities that they've done during each session.

Trial morning visit which my son didn't want to...
My son is starting the Pre School in September 2013 so when I received a phone call asking if we would like to come for a morning visit before he starts I was so happy to think that the staff were ahead of themselves and already thinking about settling my son in before he even starts. He thoroughly enjoyed the morning and did not want to leave when it was home time. I found the staff very friendly, welcoming, caring & attentive to each & every child's need however big or small.

Very friendly & welcoming pre-school
My son thoroughly enjoyed himself when he was at this pre-school (he finished there July 2012). There was a really good selection of activities, with a great outdoor space, and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. My daughter has now started there this week and was quite nervous and shy on her first day, however, the staff were wonderful and very caring towards her, making her feel comfortable and safe. She has had a great start and now can't wait to go back.

Friendly welcoming well organised preschool
My kids love Preschool and will miss it when they leave. The staff are v friendly and great at making children feel at ease in those first few nerve racking sessions. There is an excellent range of toys, activities and books both inside and outside. Experienced staff give lots of 1 to 1 and there are group activities. Music and sports teachers visit each term and occasional outings to the shop, farm, garden centre, and school for acclimatisation when older. I cannot rate them highly enough.
