Innovative and Genuine Care Setting
Having had two children in Reflections our experience has always been positive. The team are great at communicating and you really feel you are joint caring. from weaning to toilet training to learning preschool skills, all the reflections team are consistent and respectful of individual wishes. The spaces inside and outside are stimulating and engaging. Hand on heart it's been the best start for my 2 children who are now both enjoying and engaging well at school. Thank you Reflections...

Truly a Great Nursery
My daughter was at Reflections from the age of 5 months to 4 and a half years. She loved the indoor space, freedom to express what she would like to do during the day. Plenty of outside activities. My daughter also went on the Forest School trips for a year and loved the outdoors and the exploring. The food was always of a good quality and it varied. The staff give you feedback each time you pick your child up so you are always aware of how they are and what they have been doing. This nursery is worth every penny.

Excellent and inventive nursery
The best nursery we saw by far and provided excellent care and support for my daughter. The forest school was wonderful and created a love of nature and adventure. Staff delivered personalised support and each nursery worker was superb in their work. The communication from the nursery was effective, timely, and friendly.

Quite Simply the best
My daughter attended Reflections from age 15 months through to 4.3 years of age. It was quite simply the best start we could provide her in life - every element of her care was simply amazing.
The project based environment where the kids lead the learning is one of the keys to the success of the nursery. The kids are engaged and involved in what they are doing which creates a natural curiosity. The resources are amazing yet I can't remember seeing anything Fischer Price or such there. It's all stuff that can be used to drive the childrens creativity and imagination.
The staff are well trained, interested in what they are doing and good at it. The children bond with the adults and there is a climate of joint experiences with the adults as excited about the kids development as they or the parents are. I did not meet one staff member who did not impress me. The incredibly high standards are maintained by the room leaders and Yvonne Barr.
The food provided to the kids is prepared on the premises and is a high quality. It is also plentiful with regular opportunities throughout the day for the children to eat. They will not go hungry!
Another key opportunity offered to the kids is Forest School. I can't recommend this highly enough - the kids develop social and teamwork skills and well as getting a couple of hours a week to run around in a privately rented wood. Their confidence grows as does their ability to manage risky play.
I am trying to think of a downside to sending your kid there but I can't. It really is that good. You might look around and see that it costs a bit more than other local nurseries but for me, the opportunity to have my child at one of the best nurseries in the country put pay to any reservations I had.
Outstanding nursery and recommended without reservation.

Cannot rate highly enough - absolutely excellent
My daughter attended Reflections for three years; she has just started Reception. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this nursery is. First, the staff and practitioners genuinely care about the children. They are constantly seeking ways to improve, and to stimulate the children. The project-based work is great for the children, as they can explore a range of things associated with a topic, rather then being introduced briefly. The materials used in the nursery are natural, meaning the children really use their imaginations and cooperate to play and create. The children are given the opportunity to explore and learn about what their own interests. Forest School gives them the opportunity and freedom to explore nature. Reflections' philosophy has given my child a strong sense of independence, curiosity, and confidence. The food is amazing, and my child loved the vegetable garden, which I think has helped her eat her veg! When we started there in September 2011, we didn't find the cost significantly higher than other nurseries, when food and nappies were factored in - I'm not sure if this is still true. I couldn't have asked for a better nursery for my kid, and we are very sad to have graduated.
