Fabulous Nursery

Extremely welcoming and warm staff. Activities for the children are engaging and fun. Always happy to communicate about my child's day on collecting. Would recommend this nursery to everybody.

truly outstanding

I am very happy with the nursery. They always go above and beyond. For example, organising Saturday Trips so families can get together, offering Forest School, weekly newsletters, excellent food provided and inviting parents to have their say in the parent forum. the staff are fantastic and I feel totally comfortable leaving my son at nursery when I head off to work.

Nice carers terrible managers and admin

The carers for children at St.Saviours are excellent!
This nursery is very good from 1 years up to 2 with fees being competitive with others in the area. How they afford to keep it so affordable though is clever and a painful twist for parents. In the vast majority of nurseries, when your toddler hits 3 the fees take a substantial drop. This is because of a drop in legal staff ratio requirements and government assistance money (FEEE). 99% of nurseries pass this discount on to struggling hard-pressed parents. Not at St.Saviours. They gouge out high fees from the pre-school parents and pocket any savings from ratio drop. It's a clever business tactic as by this stage your little one is well settled. Pulling them out of their circle of friends is something any responsible parent will try to avoid. They know this and hence your stuck. The nursery administration will be circuitous, obfuscating and generally unhelpful. They're utterly mercenary in this regard "hey just go somewhere else if you don't like it" is the attitude. Phoning and emailing becomes a real chore with them. Shame because it's a great nursery with wonderful staffing caring for the kids but beware costs and the administrators.

This is not an isolated case too. Other parents have complained about the same issue but have resolved to just begrudgingly accepted in silence hence why you won't see more here.

Very nice nursery

So far this is the best nursery i've been in since i had my elder child six years ago in Newham and Waltham Forest borough. The facilities are wonderful. They do art, music, reading, dancing, they do many trips and activities. The staff are so caring and friendly. All giving lots of love hugs and attention which my daughter need and love it. It is spotlessly clean , of-course during the day children replace toys and do mess but it is normal and no ons stress them about that because more important is that they got fun and they happy. I would highly recommend this nursery.Fantastic space, great concept, brilliant staff!! There is no where else like it. It even has a 2 gardens and beautiful fields with chickens!!! The staff are extremely knowledgable and run a tight ship with an opn door policy and are just lovely, fabulous and of very mixed ages. Great!

Good

Friendly, amicable staff who you can see really love the kids. A little disorganised regarding listening to our requirements on food and instructions. Also losing and missing belongings sometimes. Seems to be a bit of "left-hand doesn't know what the right-hand is doing" going on at the nursery sometiems - will just put this down to teething issues for now. Hopefully gets sorted.

A little concerned
