Latest reviews of this nursery and group childcare setting

Skools Out Club Limited

27 years of not for profit childcare

The previous, initial post is incredibly insulting to the many parents who use, value and love this club. Tomorrow my son will be leaving Skools Ourt as he will be moving to secondary school having been at the Club five days a week for the last seven years. The club was set up BY working parents FOR working parents and has been running successfully for 27 years. It provides affordable childcare and is rated good by OFSTED. I like that my son has learned to take collective responsibility for when toilets are left untidy , as mentioned in a previous post, and he doesn't feel he would want to leave it for someone else to clean up as though he were a little prince! My son tells me that the boys elected to tidy up the mess themselves together which speaks to the characteristics of teamwork, responsibility, justice, resilience and determination which are engendered in the children. There will always be children and families who don't get it and expect five star service for a knock down price! My son is academically high, socially strong and emotionally literate due in no small part to the experiences offered to him at Skools Out Club over the years, the chance to meet and mix each evening with children from five other local primary schools and a consistency in high quality, well trained staff. The premises are not Buckingham Palace, it is a local community resource used by lots of other local community groups at different times. I have never smelled dogs although I know a dog training club takes place in the premises once a week. It's a low blow to criticise this club for the premises - this is obvious to anyone once they sign their child up so if you don't like it, leave and pay double for a childminder in a cosy house(and no dogs which the previous poster clearly has an issue with) . Mind you Buckingham Palace might 'smell of dogs' too as the Queen does love her corgis! I can't recommend Skools Out highly enough and 27 years of local Bushey families agree

Fabulous Club!

Both my children love going to Skools Out Club. They enjoy learning new games, mixing with children from other schools and I love knowing that they are safe and happy. Sometimes they dont want to leave!!
