Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery
Brilliant!
My son has been attending since Aug 2009 and has loved every minute, with me working all his development needs have been met and he has made lots of friends moving through babies right up to pre-school. We will miss it when he leaves to go to school. Fantastic caring staff and setting. Will always recommend.

Caring, supportive, organised and clean
My daughter started in the baby room at 11 months in 2011. We are delighted with her care; staff help and encourage her to try different activities - at her pace. They go outside every day and do a multitude of fun and educational things. Thanks to them, she has flourished; become independent, a keen 'artist', singer and a good eater. They clearly care for the children, keeping them clean and giving out hugs. Now we are potty training with their help. A really lovely nursery.

Brilliant nursery - thank you!
I have used this nursery since Feb 2008, for both my son and daughter. Choosing the right nursery is a big decision, and this has been the best decision we made by far. My daughter has been through all the rooms before she left for school last year - she loved her whole time here. My son has been behind in his development, and the support and attention that the staff have provided me through this has been brilliant. He has come on such a long way and they were a big part of this - Thanks

Brilliant, caring, organised
My son started at this nursery at the beginning of July. He absolutely loves it. He is only 1 years old and he has settled in brilliantly. He now toddles off and plays with no worries! I have none of my own worries about returning to work as I know he is being properly cared for by caring carers! One of the reasons we picked this nursery was its outdoor space and facilities it has to offer. My husband and I have nicknamed it 'kiddie kingdom"!!!!

Fantastic, friendly and fun
I have two boys in this nursery and they have been in their since they were 8 months, they do two days a week and the experiences that they have encountered is fantastic. The nursery is set on a farm with peacocks and guinea fowler roaming around the environment is first class. Both my boys love going to nursery to see their friends aswell as the staff which they have become close to and I know that they have a good structure in place with a great balance of playing, learning and chilling out!

Fantastic care and setting
My daughter has now left Monkey Puzzle Nursery but I would not hesitate to use the nursery again should I be fortunate enough to have more children. The care and facilities are really top class. Staff are caring and friendly and form a real bond with the children.

Home from home.
My daughter is now almost 2. She spends 3 days a week at MP and adores the staff, has a great time and comes home happy, well-fed and clean every day. The staff clearly care about the children, who are given plenty of different activities to keep them amused. They play outside every day unless it's terrible weather, and are encouraged and supported in their own likes and interests. I have changed jobs but still travel the extra distance to come here as I can't imagine finding anything better.

Excellent Childcare Provider
Our Daughter moved to Monkey Puzzle around her second birthday, she was previously at a different nursery in Berkhamsted. I have been more than satisfied with the care, she settled very well in 'toddlers' her confidence and personality blossomed. The staff are all very attentive and there seems to be a full 'schedule of activities' to keep the children busy. When it came to potty training, the staff were great. My daughter is now at the "pre-school" and has settled very well.

Excellent, lovely setting, friendly,
My children have been going since they were 7 months old, my eldest is nearly 5 and about to leave, it has been his second home and we are so sad that he is going. The staff are all lovely, so caring with the children and the pre-school teaching standard is fantastic. My son has been so well prepared for school and has learnt so much more than the basic requirements. The nursery is just lovely and the location and facilities makes it stand out from all the others.

access to outdoor play invaluable:-)
My little one is very happy at Monkey Puzzle and that is the most important factor for me.
The staff in the baby unit are very caring. They keep her clean throughout the day and the fact she comes home in fresh clothes each day shows that she is engaged in lots of play activities (water activities, jelly play and outside play).
The huge space they have available in the great outdoors for going for walks and getting fresh air is not something most nurseries can offer.
