Strawberry Hill Nursery

Carers rearely say hello to you or your child in...

Great facilities - huge outdoor space (kids rarely use it) - it looks great and well organised, but this doesn't translate down from management level. The basics get missed - like when you arrive - no-one says hello, you have to take off their coat and put said child in a carers arms. The staff just don't have the energy we've experienced in other nurseries.

2to3's room

My daughter loves coming to Strawhill she will be moving up to toppers in January but I know she will miss her key worker who works in the tumblers Seyde she is more like her friend then her carer. Great credit to the nursery.

Lovely atmosphere and happy children

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was a baby, she's nearly four now. We've always felt extremely happy about the care she receives. I know I can go to work feeling secure that she is in good hands. The staff are really warm and friendly, she has formed close relationships with her key workers and they have got to know her very well. She has also made friends with many other children at the nursery. The rooms are attractive and stimulating and they do some great activities that I would never think of doing at home. She is always learning new things and she has recently become very good at writing her name. The nursery follows up on things we are doing at home too. We particularly like the large outdoor space as we don't have a garden at home. I'm sad that she will be leaving the nursery to go to school next year but confident that they will help her to be ready. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent, in fact many of my friends' now send their children here.

Would not reccomend

When my baby started this nursery at 3 months I asked them not to feed him as I wanted to be the first. Last week I arrived to pick him up to be told they had fed him a rice cake! About 4 days after I had a missed call from the nursery which I hadn't answered later to discover they had fed him 'because it's Halloween' they also took off he's amber teething necklace from my mother that really helped, and lost it! Not many nurseries in my area take babies younger than 6 months but as soon as he's 6 months he will be put into a decent nursery straight away. I really wouldn't recommend this nursery to anybody.
