Latest reviews of this nursery and group childcare setting

University of Exeter Family Centre

Good for children, not so great for parents

The Family Centre is small and tucked away in the university grounds. Run by the same manager for over 40 years who has a singular approach. Being small, children form bonds quickly. However, communications from management are made on the basis that parents are always in the wrong. Parents must also provide and commit to their childcare requirements up to 19 months in advance and there no option to change after 4 months in advance has passed..Payment must be made for terms of 14-16 weeks at a time. It is also one if the most expensive nurseries, with short opening hours and very little else provided. Children seem happy, but it's not great for parents.
